    • Loved these indeed! The right amount of fruit and coconut made for a wonderful frozen delight. I only got three popsicles though...I wonder if me drinking half of the mixture as a smoothie had something to do with it? :-) Make a double batch of these otherwise you'll be writing a review of a wonderful smoothie. Delicious frozen and just as is! Thank you MsNingyoo for this perfectly calculated recipe. ...»

    • I changed the recipe a little by using frozen bananas to give the smoothie a nice texture. I also used half the yogurt then it said too. The smoothie turned out great.

    • Facts About Kiwis
The little spotted kiwi is the smallest species of kiwi.
      Credit: John Camemolla/Shutterstock?
Kiwis are pear-shaped, flightless birds with long legs and beak. Though they look to be
covered in fur, kiwis actually have thin, hair-like feathers. Their closest relatives are the emu, ostrich, cassowary and rhea.

      Size

A kiwi is about the size of a chicken. There are five species. The largest is the northern brown kiwi, which grows up to 20 to 25 inches (50 to 65 centimeters) and weighs 3.2 to 11 lbs. (1.4 to 5 kilograms). The smallest is the little spotted kiwi. It grows up to 14 to 18 inches (35 to 45 cm) and weighs 4.3 lbs. (0.8 to 1.9 kg).
The kiwi's muscular legs make up around a third of its total body weight, and according to the San Diego Zoo, a kiwi can outrun a person.

    • I have a tough time in this zone growing watermelons to full maturity. These not only reached maturity but were ripe by the end of August. I have harvested 10 melons from 2 hills. The flavor is subtly sweet and nothing like the red varieties. As the description states "almost tropical". Everyone who has tried them loves them. I am completely blown away by this variety and recommend it without reservations! ...»

    • Watermelon is an aphrodisiac. How do we know? Noted scientist Beyoncé once wrote that she'd been “drinking watermelon”, and later in her studies we learn she engaged in intercourse. We know that correlation does not imply causation, but we figured it was worth a shot to see if watermelon juice was an aphrodisiac -- but more importantly, to see if it tasted good. ...»

    • Yes, you can freeze fresh product such as this apple juice for 6 months in a freezer tight container or vacuum sealed container would be best. for up to 6 months. Apple Juice and other juices have a tendency to grow a tad bitter when frozen for long periods of time, to correct this add sugar after thawing to get rid of bitterness and enhance flavor.
Remember when freezing, liquids expand so if storing in a glass jar such as in a mason jar that has been sealed leave at least 1/2-3/4 of an inch at the top to allow expansion without the jar breaking. the more liquid (larger quantity) the more expansion when frozen.
